Melvin Darial Yogiana

Data Analyst · Analytics Engineer · builds his own pipelines

Raw data in, then decisions out. Ideas in, then shipped products out.

about

I’m a Computer Science graduate from UNSW who got hooked on the moment a chart makes a room go “oh”, so I wrangle data into honest insight, and build the software that puts it in front of people.

[ /data ]

Every weekday I turn LSEG and Bloomberg market data into models a firm reports on, with the pipelines running on Azure. SQL, Python, dbt. I care about the boring parts: clean joins, sane definitions, and a number you can actually defend in a meeting.

[ /software ]

TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node and Postgres. This is the half that lets me build the pipeline and then build the thing people read it in, instead of handing over an extract and hoping. Five hackathons taught me to ship.

[ /the_goal ]

A Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer seat in Sydney, from the raw extract to the slide that changes a decision. The engineering is how I got here. The data is where I am going.

telemetry

No Google Analytics, no third-party script. I built the pipeline that powers these numbers, from a cookieless tracker, a Postgres events table, and the SQL that rolls it up. What you're reading right now is already in it.
